About me
I am a practicing artist and work in a variety of mediums, specialising in hand embroidery. My inspiration stems from natural history. I am passionate about heritage crafts and bring them to a wider audeince through teaching workshops and community engagement.

  • The Way of Tea assistant
    The Way of Tea assistantI assisted The Way of Tea, a sustainable fashion brand through the summer of 2020. Focusing on reclaimed materials and natural dyes, the brand makes home wares and bespoke clothing. I assisted with a large private commission from start to finish, sourcing fabric, natural dyes, measuring, sewing and packing the final product. Time management and working with large quantities of handmade items, sewing machine skills and using my own initiative were key.

    Makers House BurberryLaunching their latest Show, in September 2016 Burberry opened Makers House space, presenting a huge range of British crafts and displaying the full AW 2016 runaway collection.  Being inspired by the brand, I was drawing the new season's clothes during a week, developing my life-drawing skill and fashion illustration's style.
