About me
I'm an experienced editor and writer with a passion for discovering the latest trends in women's health, psychology, lifestyle and wellbeing. I also have a background in psychological therapy, so am especially interested to hear about non-fiction projects covering mental health and wellness. As an experienced commissioning editor, I like to get to know my authors to understand the stories they wish to tell, and figure out how I can best support them to achieve their vision. I work closely with authors to generate ideas, and to shape and nurture content, in order to produce fantastic and life-changing books. I provide structural editing, flat plans where necessary, editing in indesign files, as well as support post-publication in marketing and metadata. As a writer, I successfully produce high-quality and fresh content that is consistent in house style and tone, and that truly represents a client or company's ethos. I have a keen eye for emerging trends and showcasing content in dynamic and creative ways.
