About me
London based Akvilė Les is an artist and illustrator who works with lipsticks on canvas, among other media. By reusing old, unused, and expired lipsticks, she's exploring reducing waste and creative sustainability, and delving into the narratives of women and style. Her process is influenced by modern aesthetics, pop culture, and her background in fashion and interiors. Akvilė's practice expands into contemporary paintings and illustrations for renowned global brands, including Moët & Chandon, Mandarin Oriental, Lipton, Selfridges & Co, Kiko Milano, and Philips.

    Breast Cancer Awareness MonthIn honor of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Akvilė Les, London based fashion artist and illustrator, has created a series of illustrations to raise awareness. Les, who is known for exploring reducing waste and creative sustainability by incorporating unused and expired lipstick tubes in her paintings, this time has revealed four drawings of women, featuring the widely recognised pink ribbon.
