- Element Youth ChampionsOur Element Youth Champion programme recruits young people who have completed an Element project in the past to be co-facilitators with new groups. They are trained in facilitation and basic safeguarding and work alongside a member of the Element team to support other young people to get involved, and get creative! This is a paid work experience opportunity.
- Element Schools ProjectsIn partnership with the brilliant West London Zone, we run termly projects for 11 - 14 year old students in West London. Students are selected to participate in Element if they would benefit from increasing confidence, building their peer network, or if they have a particular interest in the creative arts. With our schools groups we explore photography, drama, poetry, collage, painting and much more.
- Creative project with asylum seeking young people in BrentWe worked with a group of 13 young people who had entered the county as unaccompanied asylum seeking children, and are now in the care of Brent council. During the project we were joined by guest artists from Afghanistan and Ethiopia, and we explored art forms including photography, creative writing, traditional styles of card making, painting, and creating zines. The work was showcased at the Yellow in Wembley Park, and young people presented their work in front of an audience.
