About me
I am a post graduate in Graphic Design BA at Nottingham Trent University. I aim to create work that has a longstanding effect on its viewers through impactful brand based visual design work. I have experience in using software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe InDesign which are all evident in my portfolio.
I am also a freelance cover art designer and throughly enjoy creating covers for musicians which they can use to advertise their music.

- Castillo Des Pommes (Live Brief)This was a BrandOpus live brief tasking me to create a UK cider brand that can give cider a new lease of life and how the brand could interact with the real world. The idea behind my brand "Castillo Des Pommes" was that I wanted to incorporate modern built up areas with wildlife; therefore my brands orchards would all be based in major cities within the UK as this was a big part of my research as I had seen local urban orchards popping up around the country and encouraging communities to get inv
- Grit (Live Brief)This was a project (live brief) set by Born Ugly named "Sell the Unsellable". How do you add value to something that has little to no value? How do you create demand for something that nobody has ever asked for? Around 99% of the UK's retail sites have chewing gum stains on the infrastructure, the UK government spends around £7 million to clean it off our streets and 60% of chewing gum is made up of micro-plastics. - Tousle (Live Brief)JDO Raw 2024 Live Brief. This was a live brief set at in my final year of University. I was tasked to create a personal care brand inspired by an Olympic Sport. The Olympic Sport I had chosen was Women's Wrestling and the Personal Care product was Detangler Hair Spray. I wanted to create a brand which emphasised elegance and high end but also being inclusive aswell as diverse by celebrating all women's hair types. - DALIVERSITY EP Cover artThis is one of my personal favourite pieces that I have created, one of my friends first ever EP. He had just graduated University and therefore wanted to showcase his talents as a rapper in the real world. I created the typography in a style of nursery play blocks using Illustrator and combined with Photoshop.
- Bring It Back EP Cover ArtThis cover art was made for Nottingham based rapper Joey P for his long awaited EP. He sent me an image from his younger years based in America in the 80's. The original image was quite blurry, therefore with some photoshop and some AI software I was able to create an image that was clear. The EP meant a lot to him as it had been over 10 years since his last release so I am very proud to be apart of it.

For the past two years I have worked closely with musicians and small business owners to create their cover art's for Spotify etc, as well as logos. It mainly started off as a small hobby of mine to create posters for myself and my friends however, it then developed to a small business as I started to gain more clients. Although it is not a full time career, I do create pieces on a weekly basis for my own entertainment and to sharpen any adobe skills.
This type of freelance business allows me to use softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects in a creative manner and allows me to have the freedom to create.

I studied Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University, where I received a 2nd Class Honours 1st Division (2:1). I throughly enjoyed my time at University as it was 3 years of growth not only as a designer/creative but as a person, it allowed me to gain confidence in networking with likeminded creatives aswell as starting my own freelance business. My time there taught me lots of positives and negatives about myself and life (cringe) which I can now use, learn and develop in the real work world!
