  • Guinness Mode
Guinness ModePROBLEM: Make the 119.5 seconds to pour the perfect Guinness famous. INSIGHT: The average man drinks 14,000 pints in his lifetime, if these were all Guinness pints there would be 465 hours of a mans life where he was waiting for his perfect pint of Guinness. SOLUTION: Make the most of the perfect moments you might have missed / wasted if you hadn’t ordered a Guinness. Unmissed moments with Guinness mode. Block yourself out of your phone for 119.5 seconds whilst your perfect Guinness pint is being poured and make the most of the moments you might have missed if you hadn’t ordered a Guinness. (Work in Progress) Film: 119.5 seconds long showing the unmissed moments of someones life whilst being poured a Guinness at different occasions e.g 18th, uni, graduation, meeting a partner, after work drinks, stag/hen do?, arrival of a child, funeral?, race day, watching sports, wedding Events: Speed mating/dating, showing that 119.5 seconds waiting at the bar might not be a bad idea after all - meet someone new every 119.5 seconds with the help of the Guinness mode app and a pint.

  • Shelter - Let's Address Homelessness
Shelter - Let's Address HomelessnessIT’S HARD TO GET OUT OF HOMELESSNESS WHEN YOU HAVE NO FIXED ADDRESS. One of the biggest barriers that homeless people face when it comes to getting back into society is having no fixed address. This means they cannot apply for financial or housing help from the government and applying for jobs can be more of a challenge. This is where our idea ‘Address Homelessness’ comes in. Free mailboxes, sponsered by local businesses, that are specifically available for people who are recently homeless and seeking help from SHELTER. They can begin to help themselves become part of society again. It gives them a vehicle in which they can use to gain help from the government and make applying for jobs easier.
