  • Rest and Reset
Rest and ResetBeats approached gal-dem with a brief for the New Year, they wanted to re-brand the classic cliche of New Year, New You. Beats wanted a series of social content pieces rooted in giving back to the community and challenging digital fatigue as we entered another lockdown. We brainstormed about what the new message could be for 2021 to inspire and bring joy to people. We wanted to spin New Year's on its head - sometimes it’s not about the new, sometimes it's about finding space to honour and resp
  • The Ins and Outs of Consent

We delivered a range of content across our website and Instagram including an IGTV featuring some of gal-dem's team reviewing LELO’s sex toys. Compl

They wanted to develop 4 projects that dealt with Football, Running, and Netball, and encouraged young people and gal-dem's core audience of women and non-binary people of colour to engage both in watching and playing sports i
  • gal-dem x bumble - Loneliness storytelling
gal-dem x bumble - Loneliness storytellingEarlier in the year, Bumble conducted a wide reaching research task to try and understand the trends and experiences that shape the way we form and experience friendships in the UK. From this, they found that 2 in 3 Britons admitted to feeling lonely regularly, but so few of us are ready to talk about this emotion. Bumble's research uncovered that a huge part of this is to do with the stigma and shame associated with loneliness. We wanted to combat this shame and help our shared audiences unpac
