I am a cinematographer/ videographer with a passion for visually interesting narrative work, be it in short films, music videos, fashion films, art films, commercials.
After spending two years in art school studying Photography and Video Art I decided to make a change and work in film. I started my career in the film industry after graduating from film school by working in the camera department, first as a trainee, then as an assistant. During those years I worked with great cinematographers like Anthony Dod Mantle (who has shot films for Thomas Vinterberg, Lars von Trier, Ron Howard, Susanna White, Angelina Jolie, Danny Boyle), Chris Ross (whose credits include Black Sea, Dad’s Army, The Sense of An Ending, Terminal, Yesterday), Danny Cohen (Les Miserable, The King’s Speech, Room, Disobedience, The Program, Victoria and Abdul) and many others. After watching the masters at work I decided to take the leap of shooting myself and putting into practice everything I learned from them.
I am always looking to try new things, learn new techniques, experiment and use knowledge I've gained in the past in new contexts.
