About me
I’m passionate about pursuing diversity in the creative industry through empowering minorities, as well as decolonising our way of thinking about design. Combining this interest with vibrant visual languages and a love for words results in a practice that manifests through many different mediums.

  • Decolonising Design
Decolonising DesignI wrote and illustrated an article for AIGA's Eye on Design which dissects how we can begin to decolonise design. This piece particularly explores how 'good' design is a flawed concept, familiarity is overrated and highlights the difference between diversity and decolonisation. It's a useful read for anyone who is searching for resources to learn about the concept of decolonisation and how it applies to design.

Originating as my university dissertation, the full essay was designed as a zine within a protest poster kit, using a collaged visual language that took inspiration from the punk and riot grrrrl movements as well as the Black Panther newspapers.
  • Why Role Models Matter: Celebrating Women of Colour in Design
Why Role Models Matter: Celebrating Women of Colour in DesignThis article explored the importance of role models as a minority in the design industry, though my own personal experiences.

The event was presented in partnership with Airbnb, who provided
