About me
I am an analytical, creative, and driven Marketing Leader with extensive experience in high-impact marketing programs, from planning to execution, and client services / investor relations strategies. Given my passion for technology, I have always enjoyed leveraging new technologies to maximise the outcome of marketing campaigns and address the changing needs of investors. Technology transforms the interface between brands and people, creating a uniqueness that differentiates a business from the rest. This is the part of my job that energizes and brings me the greatest satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. Having worked in start-up and small finance companies, I’ve had the opportunity to manage the development and implementation of various innovative marketing technologies. Some specific examples included Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, digital marketing channels, marketing automation, and a financial literacy gaming app. These played a pivotal role in generating multimillion-dollar assets, boosting marketing process efficiencies, and expanding funds registration in multiple countries. Recently, I started an online course in Python and one in data analysis to further my knowledge of data science, automation, as well as website, games, and app development. I am looking forward to leveraging these learnings, my in-depth expertise in marketing, and my passion for technology to help companies in the technology sector improve their marketing effectiveness and create a competitive advantage. I also supervised a team associate. To streamline marketing processes and interactions with existing and potential customers, I led the setup, implementation, and enhancement of the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This also involved facilitating the automation of newsletters and administrator flow. I also supervised the company’s website and the execution of various marketing activities, including investor webinars. Through these efforts, I am proud to have expanded the flagship funds registration in several countries and raised multimillion-dollar assets before my departure.

As an Investors Relations Manager, I was responsible for overseeing investor relations activities to enhance the company’s image and increase shareholder value. My role involved project managing the development and implementation of marketing technologies to support mission-critical business objectives and drive innovation within the organisation. These included the development of a new website, an investor portal, a client relationship management database, and a financial literacy-focused gaming app. Through effective relationship management, I was able to establish and maintain strong relationships with investors. Apart from this, I also facilitated the research and analysis of new business ideas and internal proposals. This enabled informed business decision-making, leading to the initiation of 3 projects. I also oversaw the content and design of marketing materials, including presentations, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and quarterly reports.
