- @Antonella Gasco right?!
- @Dominic Livingston Helpful, thanks Dominic. I'm going to look into it.
- @Gavin Kemp useful, thank you!
- @Dominic Livingston thanks!
- @Emma de la Pena thanks!
- @Sarah Brewster great to hear, thanks!
- @Lucia Desperati thank you!
- @Tebo Mpanza it could be worth investigating further. Great bank in terms of transparency of tracking payments, integration with other apps and their own developed features provide a lot of value.Another wider beenefit for international clients and payments - if you have US based clients. You can setup a US business bank account with Starling, without the need to have a registered US based entity.Could be very benefical for your business.
- @Tebo Mpanza thanks! Barclays is also our bank currently but by charging £8pm it really feels like a robbery!
- @Asmah Mansur-Williams thank you!
- @Esther Shelley thank you! Monzo is indeed one of the shortlisted banks. Glad to read your positive feedback!
- This is really helpful, we use Barclays (feels old school to say). We're starting to engage international clients, would Monzo or Starling be better for receiving and making international payments?
- Monzo. I can honestly say they're amazing. Never thought I'd say that about a bank!
- I have just moved to Starling, so far so good.
- Starling Bank.
- I'm in the process of moving from HSBC to Lloyds, in making the decision the deal breaker I had was paying suppliers abroad (in the Indian Sub Continent). With some of the newer players you simply can't do so, by choice I would have moved to Starling but not being able to make specific foreign payments was the reason for not doing so.Gavin
- I use Monzo – originally I was with Lloyds business but honestly the interface & insights of Monzo are so much more helpful.Specific bonuses are:- I can create tax pots on Monzo which siphon off a percentage of each project payment so that money is set aside.- Payments pending show up (greyed out) in the account, so even if it hasn’t come through yet I can see that a client has paid & the date it will land.
