Brand Strategist, Digital Marketer + Creative CopywriterPorto, Portugal
About me
I’m a North American artist and writer based in sunny-some-of-the-time Porto. I’ve got a thing for the visual narrative, and a personal practice centered around illustration + comics, analog photography, weirdo zines and semi-irregular newsletters. I’m deeply organized and live for storytelling, so I also put my versatile skillset and eagle eyes to use as a marketing strategist and social media manager for brands around the world. Whether it’s building a killer social strategy or curating an ever-evolving digital persona, I craft engaging narratives and visuals that align with a brand’s voice to consistently deliver compelling content that resonates. When not in Work Mode, I enjoy a hard-earned fino in the partial shade, taking the train to new hiking spots, consuming print media and cinema as much as humanly possible, and as of recently, learning to knit. I’m open to projects big and small, IRL or in the cloud, now or later – let’s work together in 2025.

  • Small Business Package for Local Indie Toy Store
Small Business Package for Local Indie Toy StoreHammer + Jacks is a family-owned toy store in PDX known for bringing in mindful + sustainable makers from around the world. They've got a warm + inclusive vibe, a giant TV stage, and a technicolored play space at the back. Handmade lantern clouds dangle quietly from the ceiling, disco balls cast light flecks across the muraled walls, and when the day is over, a small piece inside the round cardboard sign on the door slides to the right, turning OPEN into NOPE. I acted as a tech-savvy, visual st
  • HAPPY HOUR - Menu Design
HAPPY HOUR - Menu DesignI love menu design. This is a bold, heavily illustrated and retro-leaning menu design for a happy hour program launching at a popular local watering hole in Chicago's Wicker Park. "Colorful midcentury diner vibes" and "something about a graph paper notepad" were the original requests, and I accepted the challenge with GUSTO.
  • Newsletter Logo + Branding Package for Tudo Bem
Newsletter Logo + Branding Package for Tudo BemThis is an extensive, hyper-colorful and over the top branding package (logo, icons and banner images in various forms) for the newsletter Tudo Bem. The goal was to create a playful logo reminiscent of 1980s graphic design and the casual use of rainbows of that era, while incorporating the psychedelic qualities and warm tones of 1970s type and design. "Have some" is the newsletter's footer of interesting bits you often find at the end of modern newsletters today.

Loose Ideas No. 2Headlines: Beach Town 001, Ring Roadin’, Starting Over, Home Cooked, How to be Less of an Asshole (In General), Beautiful Memory Desserts Issue two feels like a true Loose issue. It’s a bit dreamy, a little confrontational, and pretty packed with 35mm color film photography, illustrations and travel stories. There are just over 115 individual pieces of artwork (wow! you bet I counted) spread across 104 pages of vibrant visual storytelling. Bit of a jump from issue one’s 72 pages. Beach Town 001
  • Loose Ideas No. 1
Loose Ideas No. 1Headlines: Living with Ghosts, Soft Shares, Scandignarlia, Slow’dtripping Norway, How to be Less of an Asshole (Abroad), Ten Days in Paradise Issue one was the love child that started it all. What began as a blog post about driving through Norway soon became a full-on multimedia storytelling experience spanning years, continents and adventures and really cashing in the memory bank. Some of my all-time favorite 35mm film photos made it into issue one. Print media and page design is what first le
