About me
I am a British Graphic Designer, with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Arts University Bournemouth. Besides my specialisation, I have an extreme passion to work with everything in visual form from Photography to Illustration to many other fields. Before embarking on a project I find enjoyment in researching the field and developing ideas, from audience’s feedback, so much in fact, that I started a feedback group to allow people to post and answer surveys to undergo research. I consider myself to be a perfectionist when it comes to my work, able to spot and improve upon imperfections. As a designer, I believe a high level of understanding in ethics and sustainability are vital. As designers, we have a responsibility to create ethical work with a lasting cultural impact.
Projects
  • Baratheon Illustration
Baratheon IllustrationInfluenced by the 2016 season of Game of Thrones, this piece reflects a new type of styling never before used within my work. Digitally created, this piece uses a small colour palette to create a distinct contrast between specific areas. Within the show, Baratheon is an underlying force to be reckoned with, struggling to retain the crown which is echoed within this image.
  • Design and Ethics Book
Design and Ethics BookA collaborative project with fellow peers at the Arts University Bournemouth, we explored a range of periods in time in relation to Design and Ethics. Illustrating the intriguing history within the last 100 years of design, this book covers a wide range of topics from fashion, to propaganda to household utensils all in relation to ethics. It discusses many ethical viewpoints including everything from warfare to women's rights, all of which have influenced the design industry.

  • Cut, Print It Productions Logo Design
Cut, Print It Productions Logo DesignA logo design for a small independent film company. When approached to re-design this logo, it was difficult to avoid the classic film camera as a basis for a logo design. However, the shapes of the Initials for each word were too perfect for this to miss the opportunity to use them.
  • The Mike Warne Event Brand Identity
The Mike Warne Event Brand IdentityTo celebrate the 10th year anniversary of The Mike Warne Event, the theme of this year's lecture was the 2016 Rio Olympics. To create a sense of brand identity, a pattern was created from a variety of shapes which focused on the Olympics and the host country of Brazil. The graphics created for this event include posters, leaflets, TV Idents and so on. This collaborative project saw the Graphics appreciated by the marketing managers of the likes of Panasonic and Barclays. The animation shown below was created using stop-motion by four contributors, mine being the last quarter segment. Each frame was individually drawn using Adobe Illustrator which were then imported into Adobe After Effects
  • Culinary Landmarks
Culinary LandmarksWhat better way to grab the attention of an audience than through food. Following Britain’s departure from the European Union, covert and overt discrimination have been ever-present, towards cultures that aren’t necessarily British. This campaign aims to challenge Britain’s perceptions of these cultures. With what other way better than food. Food has always been an important part of culture, ever since there were humans, there was the cooking of food. It brings people together from across the globe and binds them through the sheer multitude of culinary dishes and the happiness from nostalgia.
