An urban innovation centre, where cities, businesses and universities come together to develop solutions to the future needs of our cities. I was responsible for creating the brand identity, guidelines and branded assets for a three year, EU funded project involving 15 collaborating organisations and bringing together the cities of Aarhus, Santander and London. The project had €7.2m funding and aimed to engage with citizens, local governments, communities and business to help define and build a platform, supporting experiments to improve city living and services. OrganiCity puts citizens at the heart of the process of planning and implementing experiments to improve cities. Encouraging collaboration and positive growth through the sharing of data and ideas. The complexity of this collaboration and co-creation is explored through the density of particle systems, and multiple components working together. The project has €7.2m funding and aims to engage with citizens, local governments, communities and business to help define and build a platform supporting experiments to improve city living and services.
Creating promotional resources for this online farmers' market - with an aim to engage customers with the brands new look and feel, developed by 'Scheybeler+company'. Including art direction of promotional material aimed to highlight the breadth and quality of produce on offer.
Liaising with the Head of Marketing to produce graphic resources for the 'Space for Cycling' campaign. Officially supported by Evans Cycles and the Bicycle Association, the campaign was created in response to the anger and frustration at the continued cyclist fatalities on London's streets. Liaising with the Online Marketing team, I developed new ideas and generated content and imagery on the Lipsy site, strengthening the brand’s online presence, to maximise commercial return. Using HTML, CSS and After Effects to create homepages, interactive content pages, bespoke micro-sites and HTML newsletters, inline with industry best practice. Providing content for Lipsy’s own site as well as Next’s UK and international websites. Projects to note: Working within an Agile development project team to create an in-house content management system launched April 14. Leading the redesign of the Lipsy eCommerce website, to become a fully responsive, mobile first site, using HTML5, launched April 14. UX design, with a focus on user journey, the aim was to improve usability and ease of use, providing an enjoyable interaction between customer and product. Content was also a focus, elevating the brand and creating an aspirational look and feel, to generate an uplift in sales.
Developing integrated marketing packs, for retail fashion brands, to communicate Fairtrade Cotton Program commitments, according to Fairtrade guidelines. The Fairtrade Cotton Program unlocks exciting new opportunities for cotton farmers to improve their lives through Fairtrade. It connects farmers with the growing number of businesses seeking to make sustainable cotton a core part of their business. This means more Fairtrade sales for farmers and more ways to support Fairtrade through shopping.
Liaising with the Design and Marketing team to design and create educational resources, in keeping with house style and brand guidelines, for Into Film, an education charity helping transform young lives through film.
A start-up business launched in 2012, up-cycling used coffee grounds into oyster mushrooms. Working closely with the founder, I developed the brands' logo and visual identity to echo the companies home-grown ethos. Packaging design and illustration for Espresso Mushroom Company’s new ‘Seedbomb’ product range. This included all digital assets to promote the products online.

Working closely with the Art Director and within a small creative team to produce creative, compelling and intelligent design solutions for a variety of clients, both online and offline. Specialising in brand, marketing and corporate communications, I produced fully integrated creative campaigns stand alone websites. This including outputs such as, brochures, flyers, posters, corporate reports, outdoor signage, digital banners, wire frames and comprehensive brand guidelines.
Modules included; Design Theory and Digital Skills. Design briefs varied from term long to short one week briefs. Dissertation title Selling Charity: An Investigation into the Development of Branding Strategies for Charitable Organisations.
