However, Oryza Sativa (Asian rice), like basmati rice and long-grain rice, is very popular in the western market. Oryza Glabermima is only prevalent in West Africa but not recognizable in western societies. As a response, I have created a rice brand called "Malo," which means "rice" from the Wolof language in Senegal, West Africa.
