Projects credited in
  • Artworkers Guild
Artworkers GuildThe Guild was founded in the 1880s by a group of leading architects in the Arts and Crafts movement with the aim to promote the highest standards of excellence in all of the applied arts and to bring together on an equal footing practitioners in many different fields. Past members have included the designer William Morris, typographer Edward Johnston, architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and architect and designer Charles Voysey. The new site showcases the diversity of the Guilds’ current members through the use of modern photography, used at large scale, shot by photographers Graham Miller and Lara Platman. A streamlined user experience and an easy to use ‘Search for a Member’ function allows the public to interact and ultimately commission current members such landscape architect Jinny Blom, illustrators Angie Lewin and Rob Ryan, typographic artist Alan Kitching and and milliner Noel Stewart. There is also a facility to book rooms at the Guild’s hall in Queen Square, London which provides an important fund-raising source.
  • Bloomsbury Publishing Harry Potter
Bloomsbury Publishing Harry PotterHaving designed two highly successful sets of Harry Potter books for Bloomsbury they asked us to replace their current adult hardback series design. As well as the single books there is a special boxed gift set using the series illustrations and typography style. We also designed a bespoke Harry Potter woodblock typeface used to set cover copy, chapter headings and marketing material.
  • Chevening
CheveningChevening is the UK government’s international awards scheme funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This complete brand and identity overhaul required some serious research into how three distinct groups of stakeholders viewed Chevening. We met with, interviewed and analysed responses from Chevening staff, Foreign Office and High Commission staff around the world and from current and past Chevening students. Armed with our findings we created a fresh new look re-working the Chevening logotype and it’s relationship with the crest, updated their tone of voice, typography, photography and created toolkits and style guides to help them keep everything in order. "Webb & Webb had experience working with similar clients to us, so they understood the issues that are peculiar to the type of work we do. Their creativity, flexibility, and affability enabled us to turn around an extensive brand and website refresh, which has been positively received by stakeholders." David Osei Communications Manager, Chevening Secretariat

Working as a multi-disciplinary designer in a small, close-knit team on high profile projects that involved the whole studio as well as the bread-and-butter jobs for clients that were wholly managed individually. Responsibilities involve mentoring and managing junior designers, overseeing the studio IT systems, liaising with clients and suppliers on a daily basis, presenting pitches and training. I've been privileged to work with clients including arts organisations and museums; educational institutions and financial companies; architects firms and toy manufacturers; charities and publishers, on projects including corporate design and a wide variety of long-run printed material; packaging; screen-based design for web and multimedia; environmental graphics; and letterpress jobs printed in tiny quantities.

Education

    B
BA (Hons) Graphic Design & AdvertisingBucks College
     - United Kingdom
My first year was an overview of Graphic Design, Illustration, and Advertising, a chance to explore different disciplines and experiment with new skills and approaches. The second and third years were more focused and I was able to specialise in Advertising; working as an Art Director / Copywriter in a team, we learned the process of quick thinking and idea generation, strategic thinking was encouraged and exercised at every stage. I was able to flourish in both conceptual problem solving and persuasive communication; building on my already extensive experience in graphic design, I was able to produce exceptionally finished designs which supported and amplified the concepts and messages presented in my work.
