About me
After three years in the publishing and media industry in London, I’m now based back in North Wales offering my own bespoke design services. Services offered are built on previous experience delivering high quality production for a wide variety of brands. We offer a range of Print, Digital, Social and Video services with the ability to scale up or down the production using a wide range of industry contacts for your specific project. I've developed to be a hard working, self motivated and competent designer thats always ready to learn and face a wide range of design disciplines. As a graduate this year, I'm excited and driven to start my career within the flourishing Design Industry.

    Shire X LoggingBranding & Identity Brief: Shire Cross Logging specialises in Horse Logging and Woodland Management. The team required a website presence and Identity for their Business. Due to the old skill and craft involved in their work, my Identity tries to achieve a traditional look with a contemporary image that accommodates itself in today's marketing place.

    Alpaca TravelSelf Initiated Brief - Student Travel Specialists Design Proposal - Offer a website design and brand thats tailor made to individuals interested in traveling. My design concept offers a customer centric approach. Due to the expense of exploring, the focus is for the individual to choose their own priorities and interests at the heart of the trips on offer. My website offer a flexible way of booking a trip while utilising interactive features and highly illustrative formats to market the trips on offer. The Alpaca mascot symbolises a dependent, rugged and tough representative which promotes the brand as a reliable, competent and knowledgable company to travel with.

    Carrie's War Book Cover DesignPenguin Book Award 2015 - Shortlisted Design for the Children Fiction Novel Design Brief - Design an eye catching cover design aimed at a new generation of readers Design Proposal - Offer a simplified yet stylised design aimed at a new generation of readers. My design concept offers a simplified yet highly stylised design that highlights the main aspects of the story. The use of the penguin orange emphasises Carrie's journey from the Blitz to the relative safety of the Welsh Valleys.

    The Idle ManYCN Student Awards 2015 - The Idle Man Design Brief - - Create a Campaign targeted at 18-25 year old men as a go - to store for menswear. - Create a fun, enjoyable shopping experience - Offer a guiding hand on how to wear Current Design Identity - The current design offers a similar design style to the Idle Man's competitors which makes the website rather generic. The tone of voice was quite cold and impersonal. Design Proposal - Introduce some character and warmth to the brand. Due to the high levels of customer service the brand wants to offer, my proposal offers a new and more personal online shopping experience. Introducing Personal Style Recovery Service - The Style Recovery service is an idea based around the Motor Recovery Breakdown service. Online personal tailors are on hand through an incorporated messaging service on the website to offer guidance and support for customers while offering a personal style guide to consumers. This offers more of a relationship between the brand and individual, while users can express they're tastes and interests for the Tailors to build a profile upon. The rebrand includes an all new website redesign and also promotional material for the brand.
  • Positive & Negative Power
    Positive & Negative PowerThe Most Influencial Batteries you'll ever buy! One day project with Bulletproof Studio. Design Brief -Increase the desirability of an everyday object. Batteries are a relatively cheap, consumable product that no one has much care for. After analysing what a battery represent i.e power, reliability, durability and also polarity, we decided to introduce some personality into batteries. The design concept involves the use of influential and 'powerful' people which have given a lasting positive or negative impact on the world. The batteries come in 2 packs of 4, one with a positive aspect and the other the negative. Worked in conjunction with Ben McCarthy
  • The Motoring Concept
    The Motoring ConceptThe creative challenge was to convert my dissertation I've wrote into a beautifully designed piece of editorial. My dissertation topic focused on the portrayal of today's motoring landscape within marketing. Due to growing negative factors associated with motoring, the study analysed how marketing of cars were portrayed in an aspirational way. Further more, the study analysed the new direction of how driverless cars are reshaping motoring culture. Due to the study breaking down the aspects of motoring, I've used the visual language from the motoring culture to guide the reader through the book.
