  • The Code - sponsorship proposal
The Code - sponsorship proposalNew TV game show format “The Code”, developed by Endemol, began life as an online game and app. The aim of the game was to unlock the 4 digit pin of a credit card containing the prize money. The team at Endemol Worldwide Brands decided to pitch the game to Nokia, to gain a commercial sponsor in order to help them launch the show globally. My team was asked to create concepts and visuals of the brand partnership in action and design the Powerpoint presentation accordingly. Starting with the logo (top left) our team created a simple brand structure based on the typography, background images and the card chip. I proposed using the show branding on the sim card body, as this was a very simple link to make to the show’s mechanic. I also concieved a simple scratchcard game for inside pack (middle bottom). For the online portal at “My Nokia” we proposed a simple creative writing element, where users could suggest what they would do with the prize money if they worked out “The Code.” These entries would be reviewed and voted up or down by the other users on the site. • Ration Book
Ration BookI was approached to create the branding and assets for a new startup, Ration Book. The product is a coupon book and app, supported by online ads and print insertions. My first task was to recreate, in full, a Ration Book owned by the founder. We then had to alter the circular logo device as the original referred to an abbreviation of “Ministry of Food” that was currently in use by another company. Inside the book, the team decided that retro-themed creative would be the best way of placing their commercial partners’ brands, I was given free reign to conceive how these would work and how best to incorporate modern branding into the vintage look. I began by researching ads of the rationing era, and then scamped together rough concepts for sign off by the team, before artworking them myself. The finished printed Ration Book was then issued to potential advertisers to generate interest in the scheme. Following this, it was my responsibility to generate the branding, webpages, app look and feel and advertisting for print and online insertion based on the design style I established.
