The Code - sponsorship proposal

  • Dave Turbitt
New TV game show format “The Code”, developed by Endemol, began life as an online game and app. The aim of the game was to unlock the 4 digit pin of a credit card containing the prize money.

The team at Endemol Worldwide Brands decided to pitch the game to Nokia, to gain a commercial sponsor in order to help them launch the show globally. My team was asked to create concepts and visuals of the brand partnership in action and design the Powerpoint presentation accordingly.

Starting with the logo (top left) our team created a simple brand structure based on the typography, background images and the card chip.

I proposed using the show branding on the sim card body, as this was a very simple link to make to the show’s mechanic. I also concieved a simple scratchcard game for inside pack (middle bottom).

For the online portal at “My Nokia” we proposed a simple creative writing element, where users could suggest what they would do with the prize money if they worked out “The Code.” These entries would be reviewed and voted up or down by the other users on the site. (bottom right)
