As Art Director in Saatchi & Saatchi Milan, I've been working, waking up early, not sleeping, re-working, printing, editing, finalizing, presenting and smiling for some of the very best agency's clients since 2007.
As a creative, I like my ideas to spread and grow on any possible media and application.
I like my ideas to pass by many different hands and change for the better in the process.
I don't like to stop at the mandatories, I'm not keen in thinking small.
I'm a craftsman, a runner, a photographer, a visualizer and a typography nerd.
Actually working for Lexus and Toyota locally and illy Coffee internationally as Art Director supervisor.
Projects
- TOYOTA PRIUS UNLIMITED - Augmented Reality appLaunch operation for the New Toyota Prius Unlimited. The new Prius is now rechargeable using a common elettric plug making it the first virtually unstoppable car on the market. Five car will be driven around Rome as a launch teaser. We developed an augmented reality app for smartphones that add something uniquely special to the car passing by: a plug with its cord fall down from the sky, following the car wherever she goes staying plugged on the roof top as long as the audience frame it with their phones.
- LIVE HAPPilly LOGO & FONT DESIGNBeside working on the new illy coffee positioning campaign LIVE HAPPilly, I designed the HAPPilly logo and the relative font that will be used exclusively by illy spa communication from now on. It's a calligraphic school-like font featuring a very complex system of ligatures and metrics that mimic the one used in neon signs of bars in the early days. The stroke also maintain the same weight throughout the shape of any letters, glyphs and numbers. The font quickly became part of illy's new tone of voice and philosophy, rapidly appearing in cities around the world wherever there is an illy art exposition, an illy store or a bar.
- illy OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF BARCOLANA 2011The Barcolana regata or Autumn Cup (Coppa d'Autunno), is a historical european sailing race born in 1969 thanks to the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano of Trieste. It takes place annually in the Gulf of Trieste, every second Sunday in October and is one of the largest sailing races in the world with over 2000 participants.
