About me
I endeavour to design for change. I have a desire to learn and implement practices that can make design more sustainable. I'm a multidisciplinary designer; fashion, embellishments, textiles, prints and graphics. I like to create bold, expressive and experimental work. I work in geometric or abstract 2D elemental vector based design, I also create composite image collages as opposed to hyper-realistic illustrations. I am open to collaborations and remote freelance design jobs, please contact me at the.grandgrapher@gmail.com I'm a certified associate in adobe photoshop, illustrator and inDesign. For business/event related design, I've mostly specialised in; print pattern/graphic design for fashion/apparel and graphic design for branding purposes; logos, letterheads, business cards/card templates for employees etc but I also can design general marketing materials; posters, flyers, book covers, presentations etc.
Projects
  • Renaissance
RenaissanceI designed a collection for the Vlisco&co african print futures 1.0 inaugural event. With the theme of climate change and the evolution of humankind when our planet comes to its end. The collection consists of motifs that tell individual stories but also a collective one as the designs can work on their own as placements but are also in repeat. Themetically, it displays a mood of panic, grief, somber, plateau and then rebirth. -View the collection at https://www.vliscoandco.com/printfutures1.0

  • GbeBodi cards
GbeBodi cardsIllustration job I just completed recently as part of an ongoing series of covers for a card drinking game. Clients wanted something that would be reminiscent of growing up in Nigeria. First image is the final submission, second image was the first sample. I quite like the second because it had a lot more detail but client wanted simple and straight to the point so we got rid of the headlights, bumpers, reflective tape and went for a less realistic scene, making the colour scheme monochromatic
