Syrian with a Derby twang.* No correct way to pronounce surname. Communications Strategy Director at Anomaly in London. Career highlights include staging ‘a roast battle’ between a turkey and a potato, filling the 2019 Tory Party conference with wicker and telling Lionel Messi where to sit. Clients past and present include Ben & Jerry’s, WWF, Greenpeace, IKEA, World Chess, BAFTA, Penguin, Bud Football, Volvo, Milka, GSK, Campari Group, Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever and Mars. Before agency life… Spent early 20s trotting around the Middle East trying to fix medicine shortages. Moved to Sultanate of Oman to lead communications† for an environmental research collab between Earthwatch and the Omani Royal Court. Returned to London with an Omani street dog‡ in tow.
