Work experience in a Branding Agency gave me the opportunity to present ideas for campaigns, research and help reach their target market via their social media pages. It helped me understand how important communication is between the client and their customers.
I worked closely with the Disaster Management Project Manager, who enlightened me on the small and large components of managing the primary and secondary effects of natural and human disasters. I also wrote formal letters to potential charitable donors, informing them of CWS's incredible and vital work. It was a fantastic and sobering expercience that showed me, first hand the severity of the situation millions of people are experiencing every day.
I joined the creative department to shadow the head Graphic Designers and completed various jobs for them. This included designing the layout of their products in new interesting ways and photographing them, which ended up their catalogue. I also learnt the importance of deadlines in the creative industries and adapted to the fast pace comfortably.
