Gianluca Alla is a graphic and motion designer. His focus is on whatever graphic design means.
His goal is to translate the brief in a strong and meaningful concept and then create a unique and sophisticated language to tell stories.
Typography is the key element of his practice and it’s applied to identities, animations, posters and publications.
Gianluca has worked with international clients as Adobe, Apple/Platoon, UCB Benetton, Istat, It’s Nice That!, London College of Communication, Nike, Pinterest, Rolling Stone Magazine, Vans, Wired UK and Wix.
He regularly gives lectures, workshops and his work has been exhibited internationally.

- One Language x VANSVANS approached us to do a typographic workshop, called One Language, at KK Gallery in London. The first thing that come to our mind was a Giovanni Trapattoni’s interview, who, answering a journalist’s question, literally translated an Italian idiom in English. - Il CollirioIl Collirio is the magazine of Effetto Placebo, an Italian cultural association. Collirio means eye drops, and its goal is to open the reader’s eyes to the world that surrounds us, always trying to be informative and not too arty. We designed the special 2020 issue and for the occasion we also developed the new identity.
