I'm a storyteller at heart, with a focus on people, history, culture and art. I focus on creating meaningful content with a visually pleasing aesthetic. I'm a reflective person by nature, often taking time to look at things from a different angle and continue from there. I have a deep appreciation for how people express themselves in the mediums of art, fashion, and films.
Working within the communications team in the Bartlett School for Construction & Project Management department, primarily looking after the internal newsletter, the social media accounts and performing ad-hoc duties. • Sourcing content and writing the weekly staff and PhD newsletter • Creating branded templates in InDesign and Photoshop for the communications team to use internally and externally • Assisting in the planning and execution of public events and academic conferences through logistics and marketing. • Developing and designing the conference programme in InDesign for the Affordable Housing Conference.
Worked within an AGILE structure in the Internal Corporate Communications team, I deliver two to three projects each month while also working on other ad-hoc projects outside of my team. Created various written and visual materials for the Internal Corporate Communication’s intranet site as well as editing video and graphic content. • Responsible for delivering the most engaging game of 2018, with 10k unique players and 100% conversion rates to the Sky Christmas Advent calendar. • Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders and external agencies in a friendly and professional manner to ensure adherence to strict timelines and corporate quality standards. • Project managed the Passion-o-meter across 11 Sky sites, measured staff engagement and created evaluations based on data. • Awarded Sky Star for collaborating with Avvio to create a Spot the Difference feature, with a unique aesthetic and resulting in 7k unique views on Sky’s intranet site. • Key member of Sky's Corporate Affairs Inclusion team. Within this team, I developed and planned a permanent two-way mentoring scheme between junior and senior staff members within my department. • Responsible for delivering a project for the intranet site that focused on promoting deaf identity, which resulted in talks of implementing a Sign Language taster course and resulted in 3k user engagement.
Part of Livity’s 8-month digital marketing placement, partnered with Sky. Two months of training within all aspects of advertising, with talks from individuals from various companies such as Condé Nast, Instagram, Facebook, D&AD and many more. • Collaborated with other creatives to create and develop ideas for campaign briefs for companies such as Netflix, Facebook, She Decides and others. • Produced and stage managed the MADE Fashion show as part of the Brixton Design Festival. Created and designed a behind-the-scenes zine of the event. • Participated in Digify’s Inspiration Sessions which included speakers from Facebook, Condé Naste, Instagram, Coty and others.
