A natural organiser, I possess strong administrative skills and work well within systems and databases. I am driven by working on creative projects, whilst ensuring all projects are on brand. I have solid experience in coordinating activities for design and event projects working with project managers and directors, whilst ensuring my own smaller projects are delivered within a specified timeframe and budget. I will proactively take on any task with wholehearted commitment and dedication. I have always worked with staff and clients from CEO to the cleaner, remaining professional at all times. A people person who thrives in small close-knit teams, I like to get stuck in and be the driving force behind a business.
- The Winter HouseAs Project Manager I was in charge of the creative budget and output at Winter House, a one month pop-up residency housed in the beautiful listed venue of The Welsh Chapel on Shaftesbury Ave. The residency incorporated the worlds of food, drink, art and music, creating an otherworldly Christmas experience in Central London. Working with the Creative Manager, Production Director and contracted carpenter, I managed a £50,000 budget to create an ethereal event space over several rooms. Sourcing ev
- Bourne & Hollingsworth Bar refurbWorking closely with the Director to coordinate the refurbishment the company’s first venue in central Soho. Using collaborative Pinterest boards for each area of the bar, this was a useful tool for sourcing the interiors and creating a vision for the space. Using only a reference picture for the type of marble to be used for the bar top, with extensive research I managed to source the designer of the manmade terrazzo marble, a main talking point of the bar. Other items sourced were black glass
- B&H KitchenSix months after Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings launched, one of the spaces was utilised to create a cookery school. A warm intimate space, the Kitchen offers a range of culinary classes as well as operating as a private dining room for parties with personal chef, wine tastings, TV filming and other one-off special events. As project manager, I looked after every aspect of the build. Liaising with British Standard, selecting the custom built cupboards and counter top, and arranging the fitting. In charge of the decor, I also sourced two pieces of waney edged London Plane from a local timber mill, ensuring the wood matched the wooden counter top and oak parquet floor. The table top became the centrepiece of the whole space and can be set at two different heights – for dining or for a cookery class. The Kitchen uses V-Zug cooking equipment. I worked with the Executive Chef to negotiate a contract with V-Zug for a discount on the equipment. The Kitchen is now used as an official showroom and demonstration space for V-Zug.
