About me

I am always looking for alternative ways to express myself, my inner thoughts and feelings. Originally this was through my love of music. The decisive moment came when at the age of seven I got hold of a CD and was captivated by the cover; although I then had no idea of what conceptualisation, layout, typography and illustration meant, I knew this was the way I wanted to ‘speak’ to the world. I used my passion and skills in organising graffiti festivals, music and arts festivals and finally, co-founding a music event organising company, where I was responsible amongst other things for the production of flyers and posters. But, after a decade, I felt I needed new challenges, new avenues of creativity and ways to develop myself and my skills, so I moved to Scotland and enrolled in the HND in Graphic Design. My academic and professioanl journey so far has equipped me with many valuable skills, such as the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. My professional path, attests to my strong desire to follow my dreams, work hard to achieve my goals and take risks. I like pushing the boundaries in terms of conceptual translation and technique. My end goal, as a professional, is to contribute to the creative dialogue in innovative ways.
