About me

Hello, I’m Jazzy. A qualified & professional Graphic Designer. Succeeding a design degree with a curriculum that prepares young creatives for industry, my development into a Creative Lead role for a digital, brand & marketing agency was pertinent. My design education has provided me with effective research strategies; honed in my software proficiency and developed my design and divergent thinking skills. My role as Creative Lead provided me with proficient industry experience and confidence in taking a lead role. I believe in design for the better and focus on projects that offer more than just "design for designs sake" — often working in collaboration with other creatives and disciplines, such as social science, politics, history and media. I have a strong passion to create cultural driven ethical design. Having been awarded the ‘Best in Show for Ethical Design 2016’ it reminded me of the importance to produce such works. My keen interest in cultural design was highly recognised with the ‘School of Art & Design Visual Culture Award 2017’ and I’m now recognised as an ‘Adobe Certified Associate for Visual Communication in Photoshop’ for my knowledge and abilities to visually communicate with design. I’ve worked on many ethical campaigns, from, fundraising for CALM, and for design students to exhibit at D&AD New Blood 2017, to branding for The Change Maker Group and volunteering as an International Student Mentor. I am currently studying an MRes in Healthcare & Design at the Royal College of Art & Imperial College London where I am working on the development of a platform to support victims of domestic abuse.

        • I am the Creative Lead at the Cloud Ten Group. We’re a passionate creative, brand and marketing agency, based in the glorious New Forest, Hampshire. We create corporate identities, business re-brands, web design & development, digital marketing and thought provoking business collateral inspiring communication. I was head hunted before I had even graduated to fill the Creative Lead roll in a corporate design studio working with big name brands and the UHNW. My director saw my potential and grabbed it! The company has since doubled in size since my starting and is only getting bigger! Within my role I am responsible for: bringing together the design team from initial brief to final aesthetic and functional outcomes for our clients.

        • I founded Jazzy Olive in 2014 with the aim to create cultural driven ethical design. I'm a strong believer in design for the better. Better aesthetics. Better functionality. But ultimately, a better future for all. I focus on projects that offer more than just design for designs sake — often working in collaboration with other creatives and disciplines, such as social science, politics, history and media. I have a strong passion to create cultural driven ethical design. Having been awarded the ‘Best in Show for Ethical Design 2016’ it reminded me of the importance to produce such works.
