  • Receiving advertising and marketing briefs from international companies and overseeing the development of a strategy and ideas in response to the brief. Directing the creative development and production of the selected idea, to include managing multi-million pound budgets and keeping to tight timelines. Building a strong relationship with the client, ensuring that they are comfortable at every step of the process.   • Working with Number 10 Downing Street to successfully conceive, develop and launch a website helping 11-24 year olds to find their perfect career. Establishing and developing partnerships with corporate and Third Sector organisations, such as Facebook and Centrica. Developing a Youth Engagement Strategy. Setting up an online panel of 200 young people.

  • Formulating and implementing a 3-year marketing and communications plan for the various key stakeholders, including international businesses, government and schools. Launching and managing two new projects: ‘I Am Creative’, a pioneering educational project, connecting education with employment, and ‘The Ladder’, a progression pathway for gifted students. Identifying, contacting and pitching to potential funders and investors. Establishing and building relationships with a network of existing funders and delivery partners. Directing organisational rebrand, to include re-launch of all websites. Recruiting and managing a team of Project Coordinators to run the above projects. Directing and managing the Ideas Foundation’s ‘Diversity in Advertising’ campaign.

  • Developing a selection of (printed and digital) national marketing campaigns. Co-running the vInspired National Awards Ceremony at the o2. Creating an online platform for schoolchildren about volunteering (delivered in over 500 schools). Managing the production of various promotional films. Managing the digital content from the Summer of Give campaign, which toured the country’s top Music Festivals. Working with young volunteers to create content for the site, such as blogs. Managing all digital and communications content, to include a weekly blog, articles, press releases, case studies, all newsletters to consumers and stakeholders. Fully responsible for all CRM and CMS systems. Setting up and developed vInspired on various social networks, to include v’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages. Developing and implementing a targeted Communications strategy for their database of 100,000 16-25 year olds from scratch.

  • BBC Radio 1: Working as a Unit Assistant, editing sound packages and researching content for on-air use. BBC Blast: Organising a fashion workshop for this initiative, which aimed to encourage 13-19 year olds to get involved in creative arts. BBC Switch: Creating written and video content for a website for 16-25 year olds..
