• PRAESIDIUMThis collection explores the themes of protection and defence. The colour palette is inspired by the polar bear and its habitat. Both face devastation due to the ever-rising effects of climate change. Imagine a world devastated by climate change. We as humans needing to protect and defend ourselves in this new world, against the elements and most importantly ourselves… Enter PRAESIDIUM.
• Protection and DefenceExploring themes of protection and defence as a reaction to Climate change ands the lasting effects we as humans may face in years to come.
• Naturally FashionedInspired by the fast fashion movement, I wanted to create a small collection that introduced grown matter to my samples that would allow for growth and change as the samples grew with the seasons allowing for new textures and colour ways to be present. This would allow for a single garment to have many incarnations as it developed.
