About me
I’m a Berlin-based graphic designer originally from Yorkshire, England. My work has spanned over industries such as fashion and literature. My experience both freelancing and in-house eventually saw me move into projects related visual identity and art direction. I’m passionate about conceptual design and approach all projects with an eagerness to apply my expertise to a new challenge. I have worked extensively in the garment and production industry designing and consulting for musicians, brands and retailers alike.

  • The Order of Time
The Order of TimeFollowing similar work I did for the same author in 2017. I was approached by Penguin Books to collaborate on the launch of a new book by best-selling author Carlo Rovelli.  The book, titled The Order of Time, focuses on our finite understanding of time as a concept. Our aim was to create an animation that could begin to encapsulate this fundamental, albeit very human, lack of comprehension. Carlo Rovelli's work excels in being vast and poetic while approachable and clear. In my animation that w

  • Select Show Pack A/W 2017
Select Show Pack A/W 2017In 2017 Select Model Management approached me about creating a showpack for them. The world-renowned agency wanted to endorse their models for the upcoming Autumn/Winter ‘17 season by sending their biggest clients some unusual and engaging promotional materials. The showpack was quite minimal, but was sent with three heavily stylised promotional posters. The first featured the names of the model’s special bookings for the season and the other two were heavily branded, with the agency’s logo in bold, glitchy text. CLIENT Select Model Management
  • Penguin Modern
Penguin ModernI was approached by a brand representative to create promotional materials for a launch of their ‘50 books from 50 classic authors, for £1’ campaign. Because Penguin Books is a brand with a very rich visual history, I wanted the graphic approach to be clean and simple, playing with colours and font treatments not too far away from their classic mainline branding - colour update: duck egg blue instead of turquoise, using a slightly more contemporary font. • Select Show Pack S/S 16
Select Show Pack S/S 16In 2016, I created my first showpack for Select Model Management. I designed a model card template inspired by classic American baseball cards, the stats reading the pictured model’s measurements. I also designed stickers in keeping with the theme that was sent out with the cards. CLIENT Select Model Management
  • Seven Brief Lessons on Physics
Seven Brief Lessons on PhysicsMy first job for the renowned theoretical physicist involved drawing inspiration from elements of the book cover to create a minimal promotional website for his new book. I made some rather abstract space themed illustrations, that I executed in a silver foil ink to go with Rovelli's seven rather abstract theories for the promotional website. CLIENT Penguin Books

    • My work at Zalando involved pinpointing upcoming trends in graphic design and print direction and articulating this research in clear presentations and reports. This included international travel for inspiration and to attend relevant exhibitions, stores, events and shows. • I would travel to print houses for hands-on experience setting up multilayered screen artwork. I was also responsible for product direction and making sure the company was suitably represented from a print design perspective. • My experience at Zalando taught me to handle high-pressure situations and turn projects around quickly. I would often be required to work late or weekends to realise tight design deadlines.
