I'm a writer, editor, and editorial director with over a decade's experience in culture, tech, and B2B journalism. My feature, news, and opinion work is regularly published in The Guardian, BBC, Dazed, Frieze, The Baffler, VICE, Ignant, and many others. I also work as a freelance reporter for new media startup Prolific London, covering stories in advertising, marketing, and the London creative and tech sectors.
In addition to my bylined work I am an experienced ghostwriter, working with some of the UK’s leading CEOs on topics including the future of work, entrepreneurship, and business policy. My ghostwritten work has appeared in almost every UK national newspaper, along with dozens of specialist and trade publications. I have also contributed to a Parliamentary report on automation.
Between 2015 and 2017 I worked as an Editorial Director at a subsidiary of Virtue, VICE's creative services agency. In this role I oversaw the editorial elements of a major culture project for a multi-billion dollar client, and provided story consultancy for several documentaries. Before that I was the Music Editor at Red Bull UK.
I’m addition to my freelance work I am also a co-founder at Canto, a creative agency based in East London. We work with clients including Gucci, Frieze, streaming startup Resonate, UK challenger bank Tandem, music tech firm Audience Republic, and rental platform Ideal Flatmate. At Canto I oversee every aspect of our projects, which include moving image, editorial, and content strategy.
