About me
Hello, I’m Kim I work with broadcasters, brands, SMEs, and agencies to help them identify what they want from digital and social media, and creating workable strategies so that they can achieve it. I’m a full stack digital strategist. I’m not interested in buzzwords or what everyone else is doing this year. I’d rather be creating the most simple and effective strategy for my clients to deliver their goals. My approach is to do the research to really understand your audience, by using a mix of social listening, digital audits, and my understanding of the space, I uncover the insights that allow us to frame your approach to make it relevant to both you and your audience I’m experienced in all aspects of digital and comms but my biggest area of interest is Social TV and how understanding fandom and the nature of community can help us connect with our best online audience. In the decade-plus that I’ve been consulting, I’ve spoken at conferences, run workshops, trained people in the various aspects of digital marketing, and worked with clients across the board.   • Saïd Business School - Oxford University
    Saïd Business School - Oxford UniversityI was contacted by the team at Saïd in late 2018 to help them better understand their social audience. I undertook a 4 part project, firstly conducting a big social listening project around 5 key areas of interest for the school, to understand who the audience were, where they were, what they were talking about and identify any potential pain points.     Sherlock: The Game Is NowFrom Feb 2018 for one year until the official opening I led the digital strategy for the official Sherlock Immersive Experience, The Game Is Now. Playing to my love of social and TV and fandom the strategy has focused heavily on how best we can engage the pre-existing Sherlock fans around this new experience in the run-up to launch.     Riviera TV - Sky AtlanticLate in 2018 I was approached to write a social media strategy for the launch of season 2 of Sky Atlantics ‘Riviera’. As is my custom, I first ran a social listening module around 3 similar shows to understand the audience and their interests. Alongside this I conducted an audit on the first seasons’ social output.
