About me
Inspired by Scandinavian design, I offer professional graphic design services providing beautiful, minimalist and highly communicative design solutions, with a focus on editorial design and design for print. Dagklar is all about minimalist designs that are highly functional, yet don't lack warmth and character. It is about the acknowledgement that besides functionality it is also the beauty and the aesthetic enjoyment that comes with a design that can change our lives and the world we live in for the better.

Magazine: Smultron – On Scandinavian PathsSmultron is a publication that presents Scandinavia and its culture, lifestyle and nature from one specific viewpoint per issue. I learned to love the magic of light and nature during the many summers that I spent in the North as a child. I learned to appreciate the beauty of the Scandinavian languages and the power of the stories and legends they tell when I studied Scandinavian studies at university. I learned to admire the humble perfection of Scandinavian design throughout my years as a graphic design student.

Five different approaches are used to illustrate eight poems by the Swedish poet Karin Boye. The poems reflect central values and characteristics of Scandinavian style and feel. The typeface Sweden Sans, which is used by the Swedish government and state for official and promotional material, has been used throughout
  • Essay: Across the Baltic Sea
Essay: Across the Baltic SeaScandinavian style has conquered the world in many ways. Be it Nordic lifestyle with the Danish “hygge” or the Swedish “lagom”. A continuously growing interest for Scandinavian food. Or the design style of the North, with its clean and minimalist features that are widely admired and loved. But is there more to the style than just a current lifestyle trend? Could Nordic design be the shining example of a visual discipline that society in the world of today really needs and asks for? This essay a
