- Magazine: Smultron – On Scandinavian PathsSmultron is a publication that presents Scandinavia and its culture, lifestyle and nature from one specific viewpoint per issue. With a carefully curated collection of artefacts from arts, literature, music as well as everyday life, Smultron wants to capture the essence of the Nordic feel with regard to the selected aspect. The prototype focuses on the feeling of melancholy, which, being a stereotype of Scandinavian literature and film, forms an important and meaningful characteristic of the Nor
- Book: Between the Birch TreesMy fascination for Scandinavia and Sweden in particular has been a constant in my life since early childhood. I learned to love the magic of light and nature during the many summers that I spent in the North as a child. I learned to appreciate the beauty of the Scandinavian languages and the power of the stories and legends they tell when I studied Scandinavian studies at university. I learned to admire the humble perfection of Scandinavian design throughout my years as a graphic design student.
- Illustration: Under the Midnight SunWhat is Scandinavian style? Can it be designed and if so, how? This catalogue accompanies the project UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN, which discusses these questions in visual experiments. Five different approaches are used to illustrate eight poems by the Swedish poet Karin Boye. The poems reflect central values and characteristics of Scandinavian style and feel. The typeface Sweden Sans, which is used by the Swedish government and state for official and promotional material, has been used throughout
