About me
Why hello there, I'm Kristen! First, may I say what a pleasure it is to have you visiting here. I am originally from the Isle of Man but moved to Lincoln 4 years ago, where I graduated in BA (Hons) Media Production. I began working full-time as a Design & Promotion Intern for the University of Lincoln's Careers Centre in Summer 2018 and have now left that position to pursue a career in London.

  • Sleepyheads - Children's Book
Sleepyheads - Children's BookI had the challenge of creating a children’s book based around a difficult topic. I chose to focus on sleeping disorders, narcolepsy and insomnia. For instance, on page 10 I added some “Z”s to announce the loud

  • MY - Branding
MY - BrandingMY is an organisation offering professional and reliable trade specialists to its clients. The main goals with this project were to make the company appear premium, modern and distinctive. The owner wanted the logo to be 3D with a play on the lettering. I suggested the use of a flat 3D design that could be upscaled and adapted easier. I wanted to do a modern take on trade roles and so reversed "white collar" stereotypes. I achieved this by creating a colour pallette to differentiate the service
  • TRIP - Magazine
TRIP - Magazinewanted to create a travel magazine for students, looking into cheap yet elegant activities. The idea is that each magazine focuses on a different country, and each spread on a different city. To attract a young demographic, I went with a minimal yet clean style. While also remaining versatile for use with different countries and cultures. I used line art to encourage the reader to imagine themselves in the place of the stencil-like figures.
