I am a multi-disciplinary designer and creative thinker specifically interested in idea generation, art department, advertising, experiential events and world building. I enjoy creating work that is witty, relatable and socially conscious, finding interesting connections between different themes. I am currently seeking entry level positions in challenging, multi-dimensional roles in the areas of creative/idea generation, art department and experiential and immersive events.
As a part of the London Borough of Culture, the Future Creatives programme is training a group of talented 16-25 year olds from a range of backgrounds, interests and abilities to become the next generation of cultural and creative leaders. As a participant on the programme, I am taking part in a variety of cultural and creative activities including workshops, artist talks, performances, mentoring and work experience.
During my time with the Creative Mentor Network (Cohort 16) I was mentored by Jenny Bust, a Client Partner at Lucky Generals. During our sessions together, I gained insight into the different roles that exist within an advertising agency and now have a clearer direction of my future career path. Aside from exposed to the day-to-day running of an ad agency, developed professional skills and was guided with advice on how to apply for roles and develop my portfolio.
Produced a deck with ideas for a Youth Suicide prevention campaign. On set for the filming of a food advert. Designed a record sleeve.
At a Tate Exchange Event featuring Digital Maker Collective at UAL, I helped set up a concrete poetry workshop (run by Jheni Arboine) and created my own concrete poetry to be used for projection in the space. At this event I also took part in a gesture drawing workshop (run by Aesun Kim) making light up gloves powered by conductive paint and material. https://www.instagram.com/p/BuxGUGtBlT0/?igshid=1s0oqrm7up72m
