About me

I’m a digital designer specializing in motion design and UI interaction design. I have strong animation and video editing skills and lots of experience creating elegant customer experiences across all platforms. I take an iterative approach to motion and UX/UI concepts and prototypes, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to bring ideas to life. I’m also really interested in new technology and software. At Amazon I mentored other designers and ran multiple training sessions for After Effects, InVision and Principle to broaden the team’s motion and prototyping capabilities. I believe that interaction has become an essential part of design and love creating delightful UI animations and user journeys that help to tell a story. In my spare time I also enjoy video editing, interior design, furniture design, visualizing renovation ideas with 3D modeling, doing DIY projects and building furniture.

  • Responsibilities included the creation of a variety of motion graphic studies, prototypes and production deliverables for the Amazon Instant Video application on a wide range of platforms – Kindle, PS3/PS4, XBox, FireTV and other Smart TV devices. I worked with the UX and engineering teams to develop detailed motion graphics from concept through to delivery. As part of an effort to improve the use of motion within the design team, I also ran two motion graphics workshops to educate the team on After Effects and Sketch. Additionally, I ran a series of bi-weekly one-on-one tutorial sessions for two UX designers for a period of three months. I also created a set of recruiting videos for the UX design team, handling the entire process from filming and production through to editing. The recruiting team now shows these to all potential UX candidates, and the videos have attracted more than 5000 views across YouTube, Vimeo, and Amazon Careers. Lastly, I put in charge of creating motion demo videos to present to senior stakeholders including Je Bezos (CEO).
