Whether those words are being shared to tens of thousands on Twitter, published in niche membership mags or voiced by influencers on YouTube. I'm not fussy on platform or topic. I'm a versatile multi-channel copywriter and content editor with extensive agency experience. I've covered everything from endangered fish to extreme team-building, with a good chunk of personal finance and retail content thrown in there too. Brands I've created content for include Barclays, Dulux, Lufthansa, Emirates, Jaguar Land Rover, Mumsnet, eBay and London Zoo. My multichannel work for Barclays led me to be shortlisted as Customer Journalist of the Year at the PPA New Talent Awards 2015, and in the Best Original Digital Feature Idea category at the BSME Rising Star Awards 2015. Creating content for Dulux’s Colour of the Year 2018 global campaign - writing copy for brochures and POS displays, creating social content and copy for online articles and overseeing video edits and the creation of design assets. Following my dip into interiors content, I was snapped back up by the Barclays editorial team to create content for the bank's retail, Premier and small business customers. This included creating Barclays' first reactive Instagram Story responding to the Autumn Budget (which I created, got approved and live within five hours), writing rapid response social copy in the wake of fraud alerts and leading the creation of a series of videos with an ethical hacker.
Writing and editing on the road during a 10-month trip across Asia. In between trekking to Everest Base Camp, sleeping under the stars in the Indian desert, spotting elephants, orangutans and rare Irrawaddy dolphins in the wild and stuffing my face silly with some of Asia's best grub, I squeezed in a bit of writing and editing. This included work for big brands including Lufthansa, Emirates, Jaguar Land Rover and eBay. I also contributed to the World Atlas of Street Food (due to be published autumn 2017 in the UK, US and Australia), covering street food in the Philippines.
