About me

Mariam is a photographer and creative director specialising in portrait, fashion and editorial imagery. She aims to create art and visuals in a way that hasn't been done before and creates imagery that is honest, vibrant and full of elements of life, nature and colour. Mariam is a graduate of De Montfort University in Leicester where she achieved a 2:1 in BA Media & Communications. She hopes to continue telling stories based on my experiences, things I’ve seen and places I’ve been. She also wishes to create stories across the globe, travelling and meeting other people and helping them share their stories. She was recently awarded the New Talent 2021 Award by the Photographer's Gallery and has her work exhibited in Central London. Her work has been published in many publications - Nwavemagazine, Notion Magazine, Toksick magazine, Pause magazine, Yellwzine and more.
