About me
Hi, I am an Industrial Designer based in London. My vocation and curiosity have taken me to new places and projects. Experience has thought me to search for new answers and collaborate with other professionals. I have worked in design and it has given me the chance to introduce concepts into everyday tools. I believe social identity and a new way of interaction can be created though objects.
Projects
  • Wako
Wako Afetr exploring how to include identity and cultural elements into object design, a new idea came up after long planning. The concept is about introducing resources and element from one community into another by design in practical and aesthetic way. The objective is to make sure the designed product, in thi case tableware, is not only a physical appealing object but that is a practical one. The respect for cultural items and their history has allowed recognizing the importance of familiar language for one community and how this fresh and particular feature can be attractive for a wider audience. A local graphic could alienate foreign people. To keep it as inclusive as possible some finish rules must be set. A graphic representation must be a general one to encourage people to consume the product. It is not about producing a souvenir, it is about engaging with people in a way that the main historical aspect can be seen.
  • Anden
Anden Anden is a series of tableware inspire in the effort of cultures to modify nature to obtain food. The geography modifications are represented in a smooth manner in every piece. The exterior has a delicate resemblance to the field modification but the interior welcome food and the experience of food by providing an even smoother surface. In the case of Anden, it takes in consideration the elevations of the ceramic pieces as a new way of displaying meals. This series make an effort to get away from the stereotypical image most people have about foreign culture. The objective is to show an acceptable and inclusive tool that could be put at use without alienating people. The idea is to use elements of a determinate culture and exceeded their origins to serve as an everyday tool.
  • Hexagonale
HexagonaleAfter a visit to a Toscanna query, the challenge was to create a new tableware design with upcycled marble. This type of material represents 60% of all marble extracted from queries. To give a second chance to this material, a new way to introduce appetizer was designed. The main concept goes around the stunning and subtle geography of Montalcino, where the project took place. The tools provided, CNC route and water jet cutter, can accelerate and industrialise the product making it accessible to a wider audience.
