- Music PhotographerUnder the pseudonym “ANCLA”, I document concerts and festivals with the aim of highlighting our current music scene and its impact on the youth. My main intention is to visually translate the energy of each room. The artist-fan relationship is palpable in every venue. Sometimes tender, sometimes aggressive but always unifying. - Archive digitization - Photo and video archiveIn 2021, I worked in a digital restoration of an old basque shipyard for the Maritime Museum of Bilbao. We had a big challenge: Finding old material ( 35mm negatives, spare images, technical plans and Super 8/16mm film cans containing boat launchings) then scanning them in high definition, retouching and designing a museum stand. I was in charge of scanning prints and retouching negatives, working closely with the professionals who remastered the film stock at the Basque Film Library and editing
- FLYSCH“FLYSCH” is a photographic project based around Bilbao’s metallurgical history and its impact on the basque landscape. The title refers to a layered rock formation found in the basque coast and an old German word that means “to melt”. During the XX century, the main industrial activity in Bilbao was metallurgy.
