Archive digitization - Photo and video archive

In 2021, I worked in a digital restoration of an old basque shipyard for the Maritime Museum of Bilbao. We had a big challenge: Finding old material ( 35mm negatives, spare images, technical plans and Super 8/16mm film cans containing boat launchings) then scanning them in high definition, retouching and designing a museum stand. I was in charge of scanning prints and retouching negatives, working closely with the professionals who remastered the film stock at the Basque Film Library and editing the final video for the museum. After months of research, we scanned almost a thousand images and more than 6 hours of film.
