A Graphic Design graduate from UCA Epsom, plant mum, gig goer and illustrator. I take a hands on approach to my work and have a conceptual mindset stemming from my fine art background prior to university. I love a good print and design that is thought provoking or created just to make someone chuckle. I'm always open to experimenting and exploring more of the creative industry.Locked Pro Plan feature
Working closely with the Epsom team for their 2018 Big Draw Festival, surrounding the theme of "Play". My main role was to create a mural with Patrick Tate which included designing the artwork and gathering materials. I also co-managed the social media for the festival as well as producing some content before the event and getting the public to join in on the activities on the day.
At my work placement at Foundation London I got to work within a team of experienced designers. From idea generation to working on live briefs in a professional environment, I got to work with existing brand guidelines and new clients.
I had the opportunity to work as a volunteer at The Big Draw Festival. Working with children at a Primary School level, leading them through different creative activities throughout the day.
Throughout the three years on my degree I was lucky to practice my creative skills, idea generation, working in group projects all alongside theory work. Working with my creative skills to think about how I could implement them for social change, communicating and making an impact. I was really lucky that many of my interests in creating tangible outcomes was nurtured, which led me to getting really into screen printing towards the end of my degree.
I spent my time on my Foundation course exploring various creative platforms from Fashion Promotion, Fine Art to concentrating the majority of it on Graphic Design which led me to creating a social commentary collage based piece on body image and how that topic interacts with social media, specifically Instagram.
