  • New Work All Play
New Work All PlayEvery two years, the Manchester International Festival descends on the city for 18 extraordinary days of new work and special events across the spectrum of the arts. One year, The Neighbourhood were invited to create a sponsorship campaign for Bruntwood. The aspiration was to move away from traditional print media, to something more in keeping with the spirit of the festival. New Work All Play was born; an interactive digital installation that celebrated both work and play. The campaign gave a

Like a kid in a sweetshopWhile working at The Neighbourhood, I had the pleasure of working with the team on projects for Heston Blumenthal and his restaurant The Fat Duck. In one project - Like a Kid in a Sweetshop - The Neighbourhood created a magical animation to excite diners about their upcoming booking at the restaurant. The animation evokes the different dishes on the menu and was pulled together by a multitalented creative team. I contributed concept illustration, practical VFX effects and stop frame animation.

This is PaddingtonThis is Paddington is a website created for the Paddington Partnership by The Neighbourhood. I worked with the team to craft a content strategy for the website, allowing users to navigate from local events and news, to more in-depth stories and information about the area. In addition to creating launch copy, I created content templates for the client to allow them to create and maintain new content with ease. For launch, I wrote The Story of Paddington, an interactive story spanning the vast h

Sony Playstation PSP AdsThis piece was my first taste of stop motion in the advertising world. We were asked to produce three 30 second animations to advertise the latest Sony PSP consoles and Essentials Packs. We collaborated with Kim Emson who directed the stop motion and it was my task to edit and grade the pieces as well as the other post production. All the tracking was done with Mocha and the animation and grading was done in After Effects and Premiere.
  • Big Chip Awards 2014 Titles
Big Chip Awards 2014 TitlesBack in 2014, we were contacted by the Big Chip Awards and asked if we wanted to produce the opening titles and theme for that years award ceremony. There was no budget for this so myself, Michelle Collier, Chris Moran and Dave Wharton took this upon ourselves to try some techniques and create something cool. We came up with the idea of "Big Chip Moves" to try and get award winners to add a dash of excitement to their winners speeches by showing us their moves! We had 10 days to come up with the
  • hoUSe
hoUSeThis animation was produced to show how Urban Splash’s hoUSe homes are pieced together and can be build to specification. They were first being built in New Islington not far from our studio but more sites were rapidly being snapped up around the country. We wanted to show how this modern take on a terraced house could be the perfect choice to settle down in, as you could completely design the hoUSe to your needs and then simply drop in into the street once it has been built.
