* Masters; Fine Art - University of Brighton
* Art Direction for Fashion certificated - Central Saint Martins.
I create atmospheric visual compositions.
Combining my fine art practice and fashion background, I have cultivated
an aesthetic of personal mythologies and symbols and stylised realism in
synthetic, saccharine colour palettes.
I am an experienced Creative Director and Producer of promotional and
creative events and have plenty of experience in Fashion retail, Styling and
Visual Merchandising. This helps inform my own work, as well as
understanding the pressures faced by those working in the fashion
industry.
Fluent in colour, composition, and clothes.
I designed and produced my own clothing line during the
pandemic.

- odd Janko: enchanting clothing for disenchanted, environmentally conscious consumers.A melange of eccentric, classy and strange, odd Janko draws on elements of Slovak decorative folk dress and romantic Austro-Hungarian heritage of our hometown, Bratislava. Inspired by Divný Janko (1844), a radical Romantic poem by Janko Kráľ, our work is a celebration of the dramatic ballad of the first Slovak goth. We look at the character of Divný Janko as a concept; an embodiment of Romantic individuality, not as a literal person/man, that is why our items, mostly femme in aesthetic, are gend
- Body And Space/ series of manipulated digital photographsI was approached to create visuals for an issue of Slovak culture magazine KAPITAL. The August 2020 issue was dedicated to Alexandra Kollontai - a female Russian revolutionary, politician and diplomat. Kollontai didn't fit the mould of a Russian female activist, whether it was her personal life, her politics or even the way she dressed. I chose to portray her legacy through photographic abstraction, using my physical subjectivity as a means of expression. These works balance between the abstrac
- Reckless Human Trail / series of digital photocollagesIn this series, I focused my ongoing research on death and Slovak rituals connected to it. Dealing with these themes as an artist, I felt closer to my roots in abstract painting and utilized the illustrative elements and visual metaphors of the digital photo collages in a more lyrical way. It focuses on the c
- Postcards from Betweenity / series of digital photocollagesPostcards from Betweenity is a series of digital photocollages exploring the concept of national identity and the creation of the self. Using monumentalising, ’typically’ Slovak imagery of landscape, folk dress and brutalist architecture, I explore the clichés of Slovak culture and reflect on my own relationship with my heritage and cultural identity. Manipulating the colour schemes to resemble Ľudovít Fulla’s illustrations of Slovak folk fairy tales (published in 1960s Czechoslovakia), I create
