Mimmo Manes is an independent designer and thinker with over 15 years of multidisciplinary design experience.
He practices contemporary visual communication through a bold and conceptual approach, a continuous research method and the ambition to promote the role of graphic design in this contemporary complex society.
Mimmo is focusing its attention on the artistic and cultural sector, along with the work for private and institutional companies such as BBC Radio1, BP, Condè Nast, Imagen, The Guardian, Cambridge University Press, Atkins, Lloyds Bank, University of Cambridge, Silicon Valley Bank, Antonio Lupi.

- Visionaria 23Visionaria is a film festival founded in 1991 by several passionate individuals. Throughout the years Visionaria has opened the doors to new collaborators and had become an international event, but Visionaria has firmly held this ethos: be open to experimentation and new art forms as well as foster and promote young artists. I worked around the year theme ‘Art, resistance, flight’ to create an image that was deep and ethereal.
- ImagenWith 20 years of experience in video management, Imagen Ltd enables companies to effectively archive, store, manage and search for video content. The company’s main product, Imagen Enterprise Video Platform, helps companies of all sizes and from all industries preserve and navigate their ever-growing media libraries. Following fast growth this year, Imagen started a deep change process that included a complete rebranding (formerly Cambridge Imaging) developed by Canefantasma Studio. After many rounds of concepts and exploration, we chose a very simple and flexible solution. We have created a design system that reinforces the idea of solid and reliable products. To provide for flexibility, we developed a broad range of sample applications and usages, including stationary, event marketing materials, way-finding and iconography.
