Headed accounts for charity clients including Unicef-UK, CRUK, WWF-UK and NSPCC, led six-figure contract negotiations, responsible for: ROI strategy, pricing structure, campaign evaluation, compliance (during changes in industry regulations), service innovation and testing. Implemented targeted venue strategy, negotiated price increases across all clients, exceeded growth targets. Responsible for creative strategy, design and production of marketing materials, staff training content, reporting, KPI management, campaign profitability and evaluation. Recruited over 65,000 regular donors, achieved never paid attrition rate under 12% on selected IG campaigns. Managed the transition from paper to online data capture, launched an SMS income channel, introduced integrated engagement campaigns, launched VR campaigns, managed innovation testing across all client accounts. Introduced Smartsheet project management software to streamline internal process and communication, led a project to overhaul workflow and communication content for the recruitment department, line-managed campaign executives, formed part of a senior management team overseeing 50+ field staff, developed pay-scales, supported the training department and set up online testing for field staff.
In collaboration with FHE Galleries, co-ordinated a large-scale installation of Contemporary art & Pacific artefacts into an exclusive private lodge. Responsible for managing 300+ works requiring archival care and documentation. Oversaw logistics and managed a team of contractors and contributing artists. Involved research, acquisition, curatorial input, hands on design and relationship management. Project featured in US Architectural Digest.
Headhunted to coordinate the program for ArtWeek Auckland, an arts festival involving 60 galleries and venues, 8 regions and over 100 events. Primary contact for all participants, worked closely alongside partners and stakeholders to build content and deliver the marking strategy, across print and digital. Forged new partnerships, curated content and established various additions to the program including installations, workshops and events involving notable writers, designers and fashions houses. Achieved 250% uplift in gallery foot traffic.
Rapidly promoted from assistant to Gallery Manager. Assumed responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day operations, including exhibition planning and execution, research, inventory management, client relations, marketing and PR. Co-ordinated sell-out exhibitions grossing NZ$1m+, brokered international commissions and brought on board new clients. Represented some of NZ's leading contemporary artists in addition to working on collaborative projects involving local community groups. In 2011 opened a subsidiary gallery (FHE PROJECT) with a focus on emerging artists and attracting new audiences. Oversaw all aspects of set-up, from fit-out and branding to negotiating supplier contracts and scouting new artists. Established systems, processes and reporting. Established an internship program and line managed two gallery assistants. Represented both FHE PROJECT and FHE Galleries at the 2012 Auckland Art Fair.
