Mona Cordes, German, is a London based Fashion Print Designer. Mona completed her Bachelors in Fashion Textiles, specialising in Print at Middlesex University and her Masters in Fashion Design at Kingston University, this year. Her work is like a playground of colour and texture, often featuring themes of obscurity and rebellion. With help of statements and boldness through graphics and choice of colour she is voicing political messages in her collections. She embodies the physical expressions of multi-coloured kaleidoscope visions.
Besides the Fashion print work, she works as a creative director, set designer and photographer.

- VIVAL VIRTUEZ LOOK BOOK‘VIVAL VIRTUEZ’ is based on the theme of 7 deadly sins. The focus of my collection lays on each of the sins character traits symbolised through print and colour. The contrasts between the characters emotions as there are f.e within characters pride vs. acedia is a main focus of the shoot and the collection itself. - RAW FLAWZ: Mona Cordes for Coeval MagazineI was runner and assistant to stylist Paige Beer on this shoot for Coeval magazine that showcases the work of London designer Mona Cordes. I was put in touch with the other contributing designers to pick up pieces and organised both collections and drop offs across the city. On set I assisted the lead stylist in putting together the looks, as well as creating and contributing my own creations; the painted ballet shoes, the ripped tights over stilettos. The group project saw the development of TownAct!, a proposal for a 3-phase Public Programme aiming at building and enhancing sense of community amongst Kingston University students, staff and Kingston local participants. The proposal focused on developing a programme on the topic of Fashion Sustainability.
