- Creative Youth Work Advocacy - Research ProjectThroughout this Project I & other artistic practitioners used ethnographic research methods to underpin the structures of Creative Youth work. Through the arts programme at Spotlight we immersed ourselves in different workshops; built relationships with Young People in order to develop an understanding of 'Creative Youth Work' as a distinct practice; adopted by Spotlight and others, which supports young people to engage with creative provision in a meaningful way. - The Rolling DiceTHE ROLLING DICE- An exhibition showcasing the ‘Dual Path’ between energetic creations through black artistic expression. Reflecting the meaningful victories and challenges we are faced with. Displays the themes of identity, spiritual ideologies and creativity. - Facing Black EventThe yard theatre created a youth group called black excellence. A group of 17-21 years old who have made and organised an event at the yard theatre. Which in fact sold out! Our event named ‘Facing Black’ was created in response to the performance/ theatre show ‘SAMSKARA’, which uses dance, physical theatre, hip hop dance to explore its themes and stories. ‘SAMSKARA’ relates to the Cycles of generational black Fatherhood, and depicts the highs & lows in a dynamic manner. ‘Facing Black’ therefo
