About me
A Fashion Promotion Student at Manchester Fashion Institute captivated by the industry and eager to be a part of its sustainable development. I am specifically interested in fashion photography, social media, digital image manipulation and styling. Remote learning during both my Art Foundation and Degree Course has challenged me to become an independent practitioner who is adaptable and constantly searching for new ways to expand creative outlook and ameliorate artistic practice.

Turning the skin inside outThese images were taken as a part of my personal exploration project during my Art Foundation course. I decided to base my project on skin, both in a physical and psychological sense. I wanted to use my project to encourage individuals to accept their bodies and challenge the narrative that only flawless skin is beautiful. I specialised in Fashion and Textiles during the course, with a particular interest in photography, styling and image manipulation. My final project involved researching the sustainable fashion industry, conducting a research project on the subject and producing a fashion zine as a final outcome. Throughout the project I learnt to use a sewing machine, designing my own outfits using donated garments and fabrics. I proceeded to style myself and other models involved in the photoshoots, editing these images on Adobe Photoshop and using them to create a final outcome on Adobe InDesign.
